Infinitely detailed, unfathomably complex and unequally creative, Nature is the premier artist.

Visually emotive, dynamic and inspiring, Nature is an art in motion; inherently reciprocal, continually evolving, with harmony representing its utmost ideal and perfected form.

Our Design

Our contemporary naturalistic design is distinguished by holistic and harmonizing processes so your relationship to your outdoor space is beautiful, practical and reciprocal. Ecologically directed art creates a vibrant canvas that is also habitat; meaning it self-sustains vigor and grows abundance while contributing back to the vital ecological processes that support it. Design that values ecological diversity is a visually serene, technical art as much as it is a contribution to all.

Our Story

Blossoming out of a background in Anthropology, a wayfarer lifestyle and a deep appreciation of the natural world, Walkabout Outdoor was founded in 2014 with the confidence that our legacy on earth rests in humanity’s harmony with Nature. The effects of our relationship with the environment are physical, psychological and spiritual the quality of those benefits is the direct reflection of our collective harmony with earth.

Our evolving knowledge of landscape, ecology and humanity’s relationship with Nature is derived from cultural experiences ranging from the study of ecological restoration practices of our endangered Midwestern Prairie ecosystem, emerging trends in Dutch Perennial Gardening, exploring cooperative farming practices in Nicaragua's highlands, learning the agricultural practices of the Incan civilizations which remain advanced even in modern day, Singapore’s sustainable and modern answers with plant life to our rapidly changing environments, and the subsistence lifestyle of the Mentawai in Sumatra (to name a few). Our contributing research can be read in depth on www.InternationallyGrown.com.
